Court Marriage Lawyer in Karachi
Lawful nikah, registration and paperwork for adults marrying by their own choice, with protection advice.

In brief
What people call court marriage usually means a nikah between two consenting adults, supported by affidavits and properly registered under the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961. Both parties should be of legal age, and in Sindh the minimum age for marriage is 18.
We check eligibility, arrange the documentation, and advise on what to do if the family objects or threatens the couple, including harassment protection through the court.
Adults marrying by choice, including those facing family opposition, and overseas Pakistanis marrying in Karachi.
How we can assist

How the matter moves

- Divorce or death certificate, if previously married
Questions clients ask
Is a guardian required for an adult woman?
Superior courts in Pakistan have recognised an adult Muslim woman's right to marry by her own choice. We can explain how this applies to your circumstances.
How long does it take?
Where all documents are ready, the nikah can often be arranged quickly. Registration and the NADRA certificate take a further period.
What if someone files a false abduction case?
Tell us immediately. A sworn statement, protection application or petition may be needed, depending on the facts.
